Knauf group

Knauf is a family company founded in 1932 by the brothers Karl andDr. Alfons N. Knauf. Today, their sons, Nikolaus and Baldwin Knauf, run thecorporation together, managing successfully its numerous enterprises in closecooperation with the other family members.  

As a multinational manufacturer of building materials andconstruction systems, Knauf remains a family company despite its size. With aclear vision, direct guidelines at decision making, the sense for innovations,and a wealth of ideas to which each Knauf’s employee gives his/hercontribution, Knauf is a progressive company.

Sinceits beginnings as a gypsum manufacturer in Germany, Knauf has extended and diversifiedits activities and become a corporation that is doing business all around theworld, supplying products and services in the following fields:

· Gypsum boards, dryveneers and systems based on gypsum products

· Insulation materials, including rock mineral wool, glass mineral wool, extruded polystyrene (styrodur),expanded polystyrene (styrofoam), polyurethane and combination boards

· Other building materials ascoffers, contact facades, etc.
