Knauf Insulation Serbia

InMay 2005, Knauf Insulation purchased a rock mineral wool factory in Surdulica,Vunizol. The factory was founded in 1974 and from its mere beginning it hasbeen manufacturing rock mineral wool.  

Thearrival of Knauf Insulation has changed many things:

•  The production volume has been increased for several times

•  The labour force has been rejuvenated and optimized

•  World business standards have been introduced.

UInSeptember 2007, a new production line for rock mineral wool manufacture was opened in Surdulica.The investment of 17.000.000 euros has brought the following:

•  Full reconstruction of the factory

•  Incorporation of the most up-to-date technology for wool production (pendulum system)

•  Increase of the factory capacity from 20,000t to 44,000t of rock mineral wool annually

•  Incorporation of modern ecological wastewater and gas treatment plants

Today,Knauf Insulation is one of the most successful companies at the south of Serbia.
